Karen Artz Ash, national co-head of the Intellectual Property practice and co-head of the Trademarks Practice, was featured in the New York Magazine 2013 Women in the Law special section. She discussed the challenges of the work-life balance and the future for women in law firm leadership roles: “Most large firms make efforts to encourage women in leadership positions and do not penalize them for the balancing act. This, of course, still needs to improve but frankly, whatever the number of women in leadership positions and partnership, there is no question that there are better opportunities for women in large law firms than ever before.” (“New York’s Women Leaders in the Law 2013,” March 2013)
