Lawrence Levin and Maryann Waryjas, partners in Katten's Corporate Practice, authored the chapter on "Voluntary Disclosure Methods" in the National Investor Relations Institute’s “Standards of Practice for Investor Relations Vol. III – Disclosure,” the latest edition of comprehensive guidelines designed to reflect current best practices in all forms of corporate disclosure. The new voluntary guidelines replace NIRI’s 2004 edition and have been updated to reflect innovations in disclosure practice incorporating, for example, the influence of the SEC's guidance on website disclosure, social media compliance concepts and recent case law.
