NEW YORK – Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is pleased to have sponsored the sixth annual performance of "The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway." The event, held October 23 in New York City, benefited not-for-profit cultural organization, Working Playground, and featured six brand-new plays which were written, cast, rehearsed and performed in a single day by a group of 24 renowned theatre and film luminaries. This year’s cast included Jennifer Aniston, Rachel Dratch, Liev Schreiber, Juliana Marguiles, Rosie Perez and Nia Vardalos.

Working Playground was founded in 1991 with the belief that the arts are essential to human development, education and culture. By supporting underserved schools and communities, Working Playground inspires, enlivens, and enriches students’ educational experiences with the in-depth study of various forms of art. Through a dynamic range of programs including theater, playwriting, animated video production, documentary and film, fashion, product design, instrument building, science cartooning, dance performance and spoken word, Working Playground empowers youth to develop the creative and analytic impulses that will serve them as students, professionals and citizens.

"We are honored to have the opportunity to support an event of the caliber of 24 Hour Plays and an organization dedicated to goals as worthwhile as those of Working Playground," said Tara Goff Kamradt, co-chair of Katten’s Women’s Leadership Forum and a partner with the Firm. "Making a difference in the communities in which we serve is a part of the Women’s Leadership Forum’s mission."

Katten Muchin Rosenman’s Women's Leadership Forum was established to further the Firm's commitment to the strategic retention and advancement of women and to provide a forum for its women attorneys to discuss issues and share information. A driving force for its creation was the recognition that as a national law firm, the attorneys at Katten have a great deal of knowledge, experience and vision, which, when collected and shared internally and externally, can empower women at all levels in their careers to achieve success and satisfaction.
