About Wendy E. Ackerman

For more than 20 years, Wendy Ackerman has defended financial services, banking and other corporate clients in high-stakes cases in state and federal courts across the country. Wendy also focuses her practice on representing clients in appellate litigation and has handled a score of appellate cases in both the federal and state courts.

20 years' experience in high-stakes corporate litigation

Wendy previously worked for a large New York corporate law firm, where she handled complex commercial disputes in both courts and in arbitrations involving numerous subject areas, including breach of contract, unfair competition, securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, antitrust, international trade and constitutional matters.

She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Antonin Scalia of the US Supreme Court and to the Honorable Stephen F. Williams of the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. While in law school, she served as articles editor of The University of Chicago Law Review.
