In an article covering revenue growth and performance of Chicago-founded law firms within the Am Law 100 ranking, the American Lawyer quoted Katten CEO Noah Heller. Katten's revenue and profits per equity partner (PEP) increased, which resulted in a bump up in the Am Law 100 rankings. Katten moved up a spot to number 66 in the rankings after realizing a 5.22 percent revenue growth and a 9.2 percent increase in PEP.

Noah said Katten's attorneys were able "to adjust to evolving market dynamics and do outstanding work," adding "Last year, as in years prior, our attorneys collaborated throughout the firm and worldwide, leveraging resources, strategy and skill to deliver customized solutions for our clients."
