Katten’s Mark Grossmann Named to M&A Advisor’s Inaugural 40 Under 40 List

Mr. Grossmann and the other winners will be honored on July 26 at the M&A Advisor Awards Gala at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.

M&A Advisor’s 2010 “40 Under 40” award winners were chosen for their accomplishments, expertise and leadership qualities while still under the age of 40, by an independent judging panel of distinguished M&A industry leaders.

Mr. Grossmann represents and counsels institutional and entrepreneurial corporate clients in a broad range of industries, specifically, acquirers and targets in mergers and acquisitions, as well as issuers and investors in equity and debt financings and recapitalizations. In addition, Mr. Grossmann works closely with the management of operating companies on complex commercial transactions including the establishment of manufacturing and distribution partnerships and agreements, as well as on corporate compliance issues. He also collaborates with the firm’s bankruptcy attorneys in representing distressed or bankrupt companies and their acquirers in acquisitions and dispositions.

Mr. Grossmann earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
