NEW YORK – Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Scott M. Vetri as a partner in its New York office. Mr. Vetri, who will be a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice, most recently served as Chief Legal Officer of Ark Investment Partners LP/Ark Real Estate Partners LP/Willow Advisors LLC, an international and institutionally capitalized real estate fund and property management company with approximately 525 employees and a portfolio of real estate investments consisting of hotels, apartments, office buildings, warehouses, mortgage/mezzanine loans, joint venture investments and development projects. In addition to his in-house position, Mr. Vetri has 12 years of experience in private practice, including eight years in the Property Group of the New York office of Shearman & Sterling LLP.

Mr. Vetri represents owners, operators and managers of office, hotel, multi-family and industrial real estate. Such matters include representing institutional and closely held clients in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions including financings, acquisitions and dispositions of assets and equity interests, joint ventures, fund formations, leasing and development.

Mr. Vetri earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Rutgers College at Rutgers University, and his law degree, magna cum laude, from Syracuse College of Law at Syracuse University. He also holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
