Hospital Insurance Forum's 2013 Spring Membership Meeting

Partner Michael Callahan will speak on “The Impact of ACOs on Liability” on Monday, March 18 at the annual meeting of the Health Insurance Forum whose members are senior executives of state hospital association sponsored self-insured programs from around the country providing professional and general liability insurance coverage for their members. Mr. Callahan will discuss the varying liability and enforcement issues affecting health care providers in an era of health care reform especially for those participating in accountable care organizations. In addition, he will identify ways of reducing this risk exposure as well as how to obtain and maintain confidentiality protections for sensitive quality and risk management activities through participation in a patient safety organization.
